You know, I'd totally forgotten about this blog and from looking at the date, over 6 years ago, it's been a long while since I posted anything. Well, a lot has happened in those 6 years and I've been thinking of posting again. For example, DH has retired and we're living the "good life". I've had 2 new grand-babies and 8 new chickens since my last post. I'm still quilting, sort of, and still crocheting. We haven't moved, although we have put on a new roof, redid our bathroom and driveway. So I may just have a lot to talk about. We'll see how this goes. I'm not making any promises.

Cute blog, Grandma Chicken! We just inherited 3 little hens who have provided us with a lot of entertainment and many challenges! I actually posted about them just last week and I am so delighted each time I find a blog of a quilter who has chickens! I have a lot to learn from all of you 'experts'!!! Love your 'quilted coop'! Fabulous! we'll be lucky to even get our little simple one painted now that's it's pouring down rain in Oregon!
