I am so pleased with the way this turned out I just had to post a picture of the completed project. I really love it!
Till next time…..
I'm a 50 something grandma from Indiana. I love to quilt, sew, crochet, garden and bake bread. I live with my hubby of 30+ years, our maltese Zudi, and 14 chickens, hence the name grandma chicken.
I Love That :D

Grandma chicken,
ReplyDeleteDo you know judy laquidara's blog Patchwork Times - She is raising chickens and a wonderful quilter. You may want to check out her blog. She lives in Missouri I think ( in the midwest anyway)
Regards from a Western Canadian quilter,
Anna
Thank you for the responses to my coop quilt. Anna, I will check out Judy Laquidara's blog. Thanks!

How nice! I'll be happy if mine turns out half as pretty as yours!
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI am writing a book about the barn quilt movement (though, as you know, it's not just barns). Just wanted to drop a note as yours is the first barn coop I have seen!
Suzi, I love the idea of a book on quilt barns. Please keep me up to date on it's progress.

ReplyDeleteThat is so neat -- I wonder if I could get my husband to paint one on our chicken coop!
ReplyDeleteWiil do. The book will go to the press in December but takes about a year in production. If you want to follow my progress, my blog is

ReplyDeleteI love your Coop Quilt! I want one for our tobacco barn!!
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting project. The Homeowners Association would never let us do something like that in our neighborhood. I will have to enjoy others who can instead.
